Ng’arisha Sacco is a licensed deposit taking Sacco established in 1978 by teachers from the then Bungoma district as Bungoma teachers Sacco.  The Sacco has it’s headquarter located in Bungoma town and its branch and satellite office spread across Bungoma County.

 The main mission was to uplift teacher’s economic and social development through savings mobilization by offering financial products and services.  

The Sacco rebranded from Bungoma teachers Sacco to Ng’arisha Sacco in 2012 to open the common bond to accommodate the non-teaching members. This made it possible for the Sacco to offer services to the business community, welfare groups, unions, civil servants and other institutions.

 The Sacco membership has grown tremendously from 4,533 as at 31st December 2008 to 19,413 at December 2020. This membership is drawn from employees of TSC, County government of Bungoma, office of the president, national police service, Education institution and the business community.
